Dr. Nisha Gottfredson is an associate professor in the Department of Health Behavior at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. Dr. Gottfredson is a quantitative methodologist and developmental scientist with an interest in the following areas:
- Adaptively tailored behavioral health interventions using mHealth technology
- Use of intensive and long-term longitudinal methods to study intra-individual change
- Accommodating measurement noninvariance in latent variable models
- Inter-generational risk for substance use and mental and behavioral health conditions
